A Dog Gives Birth While Standing!!

Warning: Some individuals may find this upsetting. JuneBug, a pregnant Boxer, gave birth to four puppies!!!! This video shows the second of four puppies being delivered, and it's incredible since she had it standing up! The puppy is delivered in an ambiotic sac, which is present in all dog births. All mothers consume the sac because she needs to disguise the smell from potential predators in the wild. She gave birth in a tiny box on the floor, surrounded by nice green outdoor cushions. To make it easier to identify them, we fitted them with adjustable colored collars.
