In todays video I am reviewing two brand new Craftsman 42cc 16" and 18" Chainsaws.

Please always remember Proper PPE. Personal Protective Equipment. Saftey glasses, or face shield, hearing protection, gloves, no dangling jewelry or loose fitting clothes, proper foot protection.

My friend had a tree removal job. So we decided to put these two Craftsman 16" & 18" 42cc Chainsaws, to the test. Overall they got the job done, but not without a bunch of down time.

Remember to READ the instructions, use Bar & Chain oil, Use the proper mix of gas, and have the chain tight enough so it doesn't pop off.

Both the 16" and 18" had troubles going through bigger trees. When I say bigger, I mean bigger for the job. The trees themselves weren't that big.

In my opinion if you are on a budget these will work. If you have the money, invest in a better model because these don't seem like they will last long.
