USPS Announces Further Service Cutbacks Which Means Slower Mail Delivery.

The USPS is increasing First Class Mail delivery times from 3 to 5 days, which means mail delivery today is slower than what it was in the 1970s. This reduction in service is being done to offset the 160 billion dollar deficit the USPS has, while USPS service and shipping fees are rapidly increasing. These postal service cuts will have the biggest impact on rural customers, elderly, disabled and the disadvantaged sectors in American society.
