Vibrato Channel Noise

Hoffman PR clone; vibrato has noise when off, and functions when mains AC is 110 VAC. Bump mains to 125 VAC, vibrato has noise on or off. Lower circuit VAC with VVR (variable voltage regulator), and vibrato has noise when off and is quiet when on.
