If you are anything like me, you are already thinking about the Big Buck you’ve seen moving through your super-secret hidey hole this summer and last spring.

We are only a few short months away from being out in the woods and exercising our Apex Predator abilities on lesser species. That's right, hunting season is coming!

I was going through my gear the other day and realized I couldn’t find my Maryland Natural Resources Police Replacement Hunting Safety Education Card.

Now, I took the Hunter Safety Course way back in 2004 when I first moved to Maryland from Arizona. I have kept my certificate in the same place, with the same gear, for going on 20 years. Every year I take it down when applying for my hunting license, and every year I put it back in the safe.

Alas, this year something must have happened. I must of left the certificate on the counter at the license shop, thrown it out with the trash, or a safe goblin got to my secret stash.

Regardless, it is something we need and therefore I had to get a new one.
