While our battle is spiritual, our venue is legal! We must first be clothed in the Blood of Jesus - who's sacrifice set us free from the penalties of the law, and thus in HIS name we are heard. We must also know the Spiritual Laws that govern our various situations - while also being equipped with our most powerful weapon, THE WORD. Jesus Himself gave us the perfect example of this warfare in Matthew 4 - when he is tempted by Satan in the desert.
Ephesians 6:11-13 reminds us, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
