Even though most people are loving, if the news paints it in your head that most people are haters, then in your head, most people are haters and it is terrible that you let the news brainwash you.

In America, you can trash the leaders. Hey these rioters are trashing America itself. Its fine to protest if it is peaceful, but these riots are not peaceful. If you stand around a violent protest and you're say you're peaceful, you should be going home, otherwise you provide cover the violent once and by definition, you have become a violent protester. You can say anything about American leaders and not go to jail or the gallows. The vast majority of most other countries across history, this was not the case.

But when we gave incredible power to private individuals (hundreds of billions of state mandated guaranteed income), it allowed them to start denying health care and services to people. My mom who is a nurse spends all day fighting with insurance agencies for patient's medication and treatments. Sometimes they argue for hours over a drug that costs a few pennies a month. They could have just let it pass, and save money on the call attendant arguer...
