ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN - Paul Verville and Beethoven's Last Piano Sonata

Produced by Hg80 Media, and aired on BRAVO and APTN, Roll Over Beethoven investigates Salt Spring Island pianist Paul Verville's discovery that the Third Variation of Beethoven's last and perhaps greatest piano sonata, Opus 111, has been played in the wrong time signature for almost 200 years. The film traces the history of Paul's life and career, and follows his efforts to establish his rendition of Opus 111 with audiences and classical experts in Canada, in Germany and around the world.
