The Destruction of Humanity

Science fiction is being made reality. Using quantum physics people are building quantum computers to exploit parallel worlds. These computers provide access to "these new resources, maybe you could call them parallel universes, in order to do something that you couldn't otherwise do."

Steve Jurvetson, a venture capitalist, has been a longtime Silicon Valley investor. He's on the board of SpaceX Tesla and Synthetic Genomics Inc (a Craig Venter project to build artificial life and d-wave).

Two quantum computers already exist, and one of them Is at the University of Southern California, which is available to use.

Connected to this computer and parallel worlds projects is making humans into superhuman machines such as what is shown in the hero movies of today. The speaker describes them as nonhumans, who are smarter than humans and think of us, as humans think of ants.
