How To Calibrate Your Cigar Hygrometer With A Salt Test

I get this question frequently so here's a quick easy how-to for doing a salt test to calibrate your cigar hygrometer. 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon of fine salt + 1 teaspoon of water. That's the perfect ratio for the correct results. Seal it up in a small container with your gauge at least overnight for 8 hours and note the reading before opening the bag. Calibrate or note the difference from there.
