IT HAS BEEN 4 SINCE I HAD A BREAKDOWN

This time of the year 4 years ago I had a breakdown whilst away with friends in Cyprus.

This was one of the key turning points in my life and looking back I have learnt so much

I had let stress from my business get on top of me to the point I broke down crying in-front of some friends. There were a number of things that had built up that I had been shying away from and not dealing with.

Keeping it all inside finally caught up with me

Coming back from the trip, I had to make some changes and at the time I thought that would be enough. Looking back, it clearly highlighted, that whenever we need to make some changes, we have to make sure we pay attention to all aspects of our lives, rather than just ticking a few boxes and lying to ourselves

My social life was not serving me at all and even though I was now “meditating” and introduced “mindfulness” into my life, this did not address many of the problems

Over this period, I continued to live two worlds, work hard and partying harder. I got myself in a bit of bother, which was the significant turning point to start taking control of all my life.

I decided to give up alcohol and I have been on a self development/self discovery journey since then.

I am constantly learning and over this time I have completed many books which has really helped me grow.

My main teaching point is to know that life will continue to throw challenges at us and there are so many things that are out of our control.

The one thing we can control is the choices we make.

We have the power to change our lives and that starts from making a commitment to do so

If you know that you want to make a change and are a little unsure on how to start, please do reach out

Remember… for every negative that happens in our lives, we can always find a positive
