Government shutdown avoided but fight over president's agenda looms

The House has passed a last-minute resolution to avoid a government shutdown. House members voted 254 to 175 to pass a stop-gap funding bill. The measure will extend government funding through December 3rd. It passed the Senate earlier Thursday with a bipartisan vote. The bill now heads to President Biden's desk.
