Backpacking The Ruby Crest Trail

A 2 night, 3 day out and back trip on the north end of the Ruby Crest Trail. A hidden gem along the Ruby Mountain Range in Northeastern Nevada. From Lamoille Canyon to Favre Lake. September 25 thru September 27, 2021. Weather was perfect! Upper 60's to lower 70's during the day. Dipped below freezing at night. Thankfully, I packed a warm sleeping bag! Very light traffic this time of year. Hope to go back next year and hike the complete trail.
