05 Sky - Put Some Love In What You Do (from 1979 self titled album)

With so many bands named Sky it's easy to lose this one, which is a shame. This Sky features members of the Phenix Horns. They're more commonly known as the horns of Earth Wind & Fire. Especially featuring Donald Myrick and Louis Satterfield. Also Gary Thompson on guitar. They all take a turn at writing, but most by Don Myrick. He is also the lead singer on many tracks.

There are some comparisons to Earth Wind & Fire with the vocal harmonies on a couple of tracks. Think mid 70's EWF. This self-entitled album is their sole output as a group, although members of the Phenix Horns (including Myrick and Satterfield solo) played on numerous other artist recordings.

This track is the fifth on the album and written by Gary Thompson
