At the Minnesota State Capitol grounds on Sunday September 26th, 2021, I was stopped for the first time ever and asked for my ID and permit. While I was carrying my weapon in the open and was obligated to produce the requested materials, there were a few things that transpired that day that caught me off guard and had me unsettled.

This commentary is not meant to cast doubt on the state patrol officers involved but to emphasize the direction I believe we are heading and doing so very quickly...
