OUR FIRST LOVE

When we remember how we loved Jesus at the first we rememebr that our salvation had nothing to do with works that we or anyone else has done. If our focus becomes works oriented instead of love oriented we take our eyes off of Jesus and place them on those works. This is why Jesus told the church at Ephesus that they must rememeber their first love. And so must we if we don't want the word that has been planted in our hearts to be choked so that it bears no fruit.
