This will be the day I Die: Home movies from an American Soldier

2005, Operation Iraqi Freedom. Before Smart Phones, my digital camera came with a movie selection, but there was no audio. The really pricey digital cameras were just coming out with audio.

I was a filler from the California Army National Guard augmenting the 116th Brigade Combat Team's mission in Iraq. 24 days after my daughter was born I was gone (Nov.2004). I did not get back until a year after her 1st birthday.

One year after that, I was slapped with divorce papers and a court order for no custody and no unsupervised visitation. I was supposedly too dangerous.

That was actually the day I died from the Iraq war.
