How do I Know Who I am, Today!
Thoughts to Consider - Who Am I Today
Who you were yesterday and who you will be tomorrow is different than who you are today, so ask yourself, "Who am I today?"
Follow this question with, "Who am I working on become?"
Knowing oneself is the most important thing you can do. In this world where we are continually influenced by others, it can be hard to stay true to yourself.
How do you get to know yourself? Let me know in the comments below.
One of the best ways, I find, is to ask yourself and answer those two questions daily.
When you know who you are, you begin to live in the present moment. You do not focus on the past or what the future may bring. You are in the present moment as you become conscious.
I have found the best way to become conscious is to meditate when you first awake or before bedtime. You can become consciousness other ways as well.
For me, meditation has been the best way to understand, "Who I am today" and "Who am I working on becoming."
Who I am today helps me understand my past by allowing me to see what has shaped me to become me. Who I work to become allows me to improve on my past. I can be a greater version of myself for the future.
I know when we genuinely smile, we tell others, and ourselves, we are happy. When we are happy we bring happiness to the lives of others. I do not say you can't express emotions of sadness but when you are happy people improve their life because of your positive vibration.
Your smile attracts people to you. You become peace and have love in your heart for others. When you smile others have a sense of peace in the hearts.
When you answer the question, Who Am I Today, you begin to understand who you are to me and who I am to you.
You begin to see that we are connected endlessly. You see that we are vast in our being. There is lots of opportunity and potential for us to change the world.
If you do not like who you are, you can change by asking yourself these two questions.
It all begins with a decision to ask yourself a series of life-changing questions. Answering them is the next step. The third step is to take action on those answers.
