In the early 1900s, two Metis brothers were found headless in a remote area in northwestern Canada called the Nahanni Valley after discovering what many suspected to be a gold bonanza somewhere in the northern wilderness. Their mysterious deaths were the first of many which would come to take place in the area, lending the Nahanni a gruesome nickname: Headless Valley.
