AOC sheds a tear after u-turn on funding Israeli rocket defense
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to turn on the waterworks after backtracking on funding Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ anti-missile defense system.
The decision saw her oppose fellow progressive ‘Squad’ members, switching from a ‘no’ vote to ‘present’, which helped see her fellow squad members’ opposition thwarted on the $1 billion decision to back the defense system, which will continue to protect Israeli citizens from missile attacks.
AOC came under fire from all sides for her emotional outpouring, however, with commenters slamming her tears as ‘bad theater’ and ‘Jew-hating theatrics.’
