Episode 44: Making a Mountain Trail in Kentucky

Appalachia is known as “God’s Country” by some, and it is no doubt beautiful. In this episode of Peace in the Valley Bryce continues past the beaver dam, beyond where Adam cut the Tulip Poplar tree, and goes up the mountain to clear a useable path. Up on the side of the mountain is a picturesque ravine with a tree canopy that entirely covers the section.
Down at home base it takes 10 minutes to put up a “60 second” tent! I guess you just have to be smarter than the canopy!
It’s a great day to see God’s handiwork.
Oh, and the PTO stops working on the RK25 - the tractor keeps blowing fuses! Even so, the tractor with the Piranha bar does an incredible job of clearing a path for us and even finds a large rock buried in the path that we would have hit with the rotary cutter! Angel makes a walking stick, and Bryce finds a turtle (he does not eat it)!
