Female Rubythroat Hummingbird and White Rose of Sharon

Hummingbirds like/need a simple syrup of 1 cup sugar to 4 cups water. It does not need to be colored. The feeder should be refreshed and washed weekly to prevent mold. I take them down towards the end of summer when wasps become a nuisance. The birds will be migrating soon anyway.
