Feast of Tabernacles ( Sukkot 2021 ): What on Earth is the Millennium & Who Will Be There ??

3) Hebrew Roots of Any Persuasion

If so, you may or may not be comfortable with this part of the body of Jesus Christ ( Yahshua in Hebrew ). We prefer to use the Hebrew names of our wonderful Heavenly Father and Messiah. We do not use them exclusively because there is nothing pagan, sinful, or inherently wrong with using the Greek and English names and/or titles in referring to our great God. And so we are NOT a so-called sacred name group that makes "name pronunciation" a salvational issue. We acknowledge there is much to be gained in using the revealed Hebrew "sacred" names and no doubt it is pleasing to the Most High God for a variety of reasons. Also, if you find the use of Hebrew names to be a distraction, this Christian fellowship is probably not for you.

If you have a 7th (seventh) day Sabbath Keeping Church of God background originating with Herbert W Armstrong, you will find that we are more Christ-centered in our approach to worship and we are not ashamed to teach on the very important subject of God's grace. We must be reminded that without grace there is no salvation or forgiveness of sins. As we have continued to grow in grace and knowledge, we have corrected a number of Herbert W Armstrong errors ( and sacred name group errors ) on a variety of bible subjects. Worthy of note here are the biblical calendar, the gospel, the Holy Spirit, what it means to be born again, the meaning of God's appointed times ( His annual sabbaths aka feast days aka holy days found in Leviticus 23 ), end-time prophecy, church government, the second resurrection, great white throne judgment, evangelism, meaning of "kingdom of God", Romans 13 and when to submit to government authority plus a few more items no doubt which can be discussed face to face if need be. We operate as a kingdom of priests in Yahweh's spiritual kingdom and thus participation in Sabbath services by the majority of believers is requested and/or expected. All are encouraged to share with the body of Christ their spiritual gifts during worship. We do not hold to the Nicolaitan oppressive system of church government where a "professional clergy" holds unquestioned authority over the laity ( aka the non-ordained or common members of the body of Yahshua ).

If you have a traditional Hebrew Roots background, you will find this fellowship to be a bit more spiritual than you may be used to. Also, the Torah ( Law of God ) is applied through the lens and greater revelation found in the New Testament. While it is true that not one jot or tittle has passed from the Law of God, sometimes the application of the Torah is refined a bit under the NEW covenant and taken to a whole other level. In other words, we find Jesus Christ taking things up a notch in the new testament and so the application of some laws can indeed be different. We are NOT under a renewed covenant like many in the Hebrew Roots movement teach. Also, we use the bible alone as our sole guide for doctrine and how we are to worship Yahweh God. Extra-biblical sources such as the Apocrypha, Book of Enoch, and Jewish writings are NOT the bible ).

If you are brand new to all this, WELCOME. We hope we can be a blessing to you in your spiritual walk. In this Christian fellowship we do not play church or take our fellowship with the King of Kings lightly. This is not a social club. We are serious about our faith and sincerely desire to grow in the character and holiness of Messiah Yahshua. We desire to do His will in ALL things. We teach repentance from sin and holy living and as such we are indeed a "holiness" church that is keeping the commandments of God. We desire to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh. We have run away from all the lawlessness, paganism, and compromise found in the modern mainstream corrupt Christian church.
