“Controlling” depression won’t stop suicidal thoughts. “Controlling” drugs (alcohol is a drug, too) won’t stop addiction. THE WORD OF GOD: YOUR ONLY DEFENSE.

The REAL ENEMY is satan. IF YOU ALLOW HIM, he will convince & motivate you to abuse yourself! Don’t be the FOOL; the devil wants you to go to HELL WITH HIM. The devil puts thoughts in your head like, “Have another drink; you owe it to yourself,” “shoot up,” or “Kill yourself; you have nothing to live for. This is your out!” Satan is a “LIAR & THE FATHER OF LIES.” Jn. 8:44. Could these be your own thoughts? Just “STINKIN THINKIN?” YES, BUT most often they are from the devil. Know how your enemy works! Is the thought you hear NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE? GOOOO POSITIVE. Probably, if negative, it's the devil. Defeat satan in your life & you will defeat your addiction/depression. You have that power through JESUS CHRIST.

LIFE LESSON; One time in the early ’80s, I wanted to kill myself. My Loving Papa God said, “THIS IS NOT YOUR LIFE TO TAKE!! YOU GAVE IT TO ME!!” True, I had given it to Him years before. Now, I’m very glad He reminded me of that. That became a “Season of Trust” and HE truly honored that. He brought Doug (Mr. Normal) into my life & we married 3 months later in 1991! Sure, the devil kicked us around for a while BUT SOON AFTER, WITH WHAT JESUS HAS TAUGHT US, IT BECAME OUR TURN TO DO SOME KICKIN!! NOT Depression Control or Drug Control – Devil Control!!! Paybacks are HELL for him. Join us in sharing the TRUTH!! Unmask him and his sorry, weak cohorts!!

They have NOT given you the tools of warfare that are readily available through the power of Christ. You have been left defenseless BUT IF YOU TURN YOUR LIFE OVER TO JESUS, HE WILL GIVE YOU HIS ALL-POWERFUL HOLY SPIRIT COACH WHO WILL TEACH YOU TO BATTLE!! NOW ASK HIM, COMMANDER AND CHIEF OF THE ANGEL ARMIES, TO SURROUND YOU & YOURS WITH HIS MIGHTY WARRIOR ANGELS. STEP INTO HIS “ARK OF PROTECTION” - PSALMS 91- All-encompassing life issues. USE HIS PROMISES TO EXTINGUISH THE DARTS OF THE ENEMY. HE HAS GIVEN YOU THE WEAPONS OF WARFARE. USE THEM. IT'S FUN FOR US AND HIM. HE LAUGHS AT HIS ENEMIES!

Psalm 91; Security for the One Who Trusts In The LORD.

Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty
[whose power no enemy can withstand].”

LIFE LESSON - HEADS UP! Just the other morning while having coffee, a thought came to me which sounded just like my own thought, as usual; “YOU HAVE MISSED THE RAPTURE!!” A knee-jerk would be to quickly look at the news! Being savvy in SATAN'S WAYS & being confident in my right-standing with JESUS, I KNEW THIS WAS A LIE!! Rather than rewarding this invading enemy’s pitiful attempt to frighten me, I simply stabbed it in the gut with the ALL POWERFUL WORD OF GOD & stopped it cold!! IF I had entertained or petted this demon by reacting to its CALL TO ACTION, I could have created a crack in my Blood-bought God Armor & given the enemy a foothold! Been there, done that, NEVER AGAIN.

PRAY THE WORD: 1 John 4:4. Believers, you (YOUR NAME) are of God and you ( I ) belong to Him & [ALREADY] have overcome evil influences because Jesus, who is in ( ME ) you, is greater than satan. TEACH ME, HOLY SPIRIT, HIS WAYS. TO HIM ALONE BE THE GLORY. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!
