🦎 Hand-Feeding Jupiter, Baby Bearded Dragon ❤

Little baby Jupiter has been here for about the past 3 weeks in rehab for several care related issues. Here, I demonstrate some hand feeding to him of various easily digestible items, which he is very eager to take - small pieces of fresh blueberry, small pieces of turnip greens, and sweet potato baby food that has Critical Care feeding formula and some spirulina supplement mixed in, given through a small (30 unit) syringe. The syringe is too small to aspirate him and he is still too young to bite down hard enough to damage his teeth. An older dragon you would not want biting down on something like this, because they're too strong and may break a tooth, but this is the easiest way to give Jupiter his meds.Show more

Contrary to what pet stores and reptile breeders tell the public, these little Bearded Dragons are very fragile as babies, and ARE NOT for beginners. Most baby dragons will not see their first or second year, because they are often kept by novice reptile keepers who do not learn their proper care before they are killed by husbandry mistakes. For this reason, I do not recommend baby Bearded Dragons like this one to child or novice reptile keepers. They are too fragile and easily killed by little mistakes.
