GOD'S LOVE IN "AN EYE FOR AN EYE"

When persecuted Jesus told them to bless. When struck on one cheek Jesus Told them to turn the other. When hated Jesus told them to love. Does this seem too hard? It is for those who have not yet been made a new man by faith in Christ. When God told them to give an eye for an eye He was telling them how to love by showing them that making a man whole from his injuries is important. Being perfect as God is perfect seems a very difficult task. But, when we understand it to mean that we must grow up into the man that God has called us to be we know it is possible. But, only by the power of the Holy Spirit that lives within every true believer in Jesus.
