A large number of glass bridges have been built in China, attracting the interest of both tourists and locals. On the tropical island of Hainan, the first bridge of its kind was opened in the summer of 2018 in Yalong Bay Park (Yalongwan) in Sanya. The length of the structure, built of ultra-strong glass 30 millimeters thick, is 400 meters. The highest point of the bridge above sea level is 450 meters. The structure, consisting of several viewing platforms for photographing, stairs and colored arches, can withstand loads of up to 1000 kilograms per square meter.
