Christo's 'Surrounded Islands' in Biscayne Bay, Miami circa 1972

I saw these "things" live when I was about 13 years old. They definitely freaked me out. My mother was driving me to drug tx on the MacArthur Causeway, I think it was, and I did not know what to make of these.
