This 7x60 limited release stick comes in a single wood coffin featuring a dark brown mottled slightly red hued wrapper with a firm pack, satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, hefty weight, triple cap and pungent musty wood aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with just enough smoke output. Flavors are a slightly bitter oily granny and earthy note with a mild-medium body and long finish. The first third shifts to a mild soft woodiness with a short finish and tiny bit of pepper on the tail end of the finish. Burn if wonky, draw is loose and it struggles to put out good smoke. The 1/2 way point comes at a leisurely 45 minutes improving things all around. The draw snugged up a touch, now producing good richer medium body smoke with flavors of a coffee caramel and deep earth on the draw, with the earth and a slight pepper on the now long finish. Finishing at 1:30 with a good bit left, it simply got too strong for me to continue. From the band point back it packs a full strength kick while the body and flavors remain unchanged.
