Hamilton House Toro Cigar Review

This 6x50 cigar features a dark brown mottled wrapper with small and medium veins, tight seams, a sloppy double cap, a very light pack and a sweet soapy aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw, good smoke output with medium-full flavors of a smooth coffee and tobacco combo with a long oily finish. The first third completely changes, shifting to an oily mild-medium bodied wood flavor both on the draw and finish. Burn is fast but very even, draw and smoke output are both excellent. The 2nd third comes and goes fairly quickly by 30 minutes in, adding a faint dry chocolate on the draw and bit of a warm pepper to the finish. Ending at 45 min where it got too hot for my taste, the last third brought all the flavors together - wood, coffee and earth but still on the mild side. It put out plenty of smoke with a very nice easy draw and never had a blip of construction problems.
