AS A REVIEW: (1) Obtain your "EIN#". The EIN# acts as your business social security number, especially for tax filing purposes. Plus, you'll need it when applying for funding, etc.(2) Obtain your "Duns#". This unique 9-digit number can be obtained through Dun & Bradstreet. Now, most likely, when people are looking at your company's history and credit worthiness they'll probably go through Dun & Bradstreet. (3) Work on your "Business Credit" to fund your business endeavors. Remember, as a rule of thumb, use business credit as oppose to personal credit to fund your business.
