BLANCHING AND VACUUM SEALING BITTERMELON
BITTER MELON is one of the healthiest vegetable and known for it's health benefits especially for diabetic people. Most of people ignored this vegetable as it has bitter taste to it that's why they call it bitter melon. Asian people love these and since I am Asian myself, I love cooking this one and wanted to keep this vegetable all year round. By doing so, we started blanching them last year but I cut it too small so I changed a little bit this year. Instead of cutting them smaller, I cut it only into 8 slices for big one and 4 slices in smaller one. Looks perfect and arranges perfectly too in our freezer.
