It explains why no one has been punished for that drone strike in Kabul on August 29th. Fire Mark Milley for killing a bunch of kids and maybe people will demand more accountability. Maybe they'll want to fire whoever left hundreds of American citizens behind in Afghanistan. And the Biden administration can't have that under any circumstances.
