20210918 In Many Other Countries... - The Daily Summation

I know a lot of folks DON'T like hearing it, but the reason so many people LITERALLY FROM AROUND THE WORLD, come to the United States, is simple.

Those folks can get HERE, what they cannot get AT "HOME."

I'm not trying to say we're perfect.

I don't intend to make the statement their home country doesn't have POTENTIALLY MANY things they like, and to which they would HAPPILY go back IF they could get those exceptionally significant things they're able to find here.

In fact, I'm sure many DO go back, when they get what they're looking to acquire here.

All that said, we are WHAT we are by INTENT.

It's not an accident (mostly) those folks end up here, and it's equally not some mystery that we are WHAT WE ARE here.

So, can you come here, and parade down American streets, waving your country's flag? You certainly can (even if we can't do likewise in your country, by the way).

You should probably consider though. In many other countries, that WOULD NOT be allowed.

That's what brought on the "In many other countries..." idea for today's (technically yesterday's, since circumstances made it impossible to upload before midnight) edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
