Canadian Election Monday, If You Enjoyed the 2020 US Election, Get Ready for the Maple Flavour!

A vast majority of Canadians see this not only as a useless Election, but a rather mean spirited endeavor by seemingly all parties. Nearly 3/4's of every self identifying group think the chief idiot, Justin Trudeau, is running a 'cynical and angry campaign'. Will that affect the Liberals at the Ballot Box? They have learned how to fortify the Election for just such an outcome.

If you were planning to vote in person Monday, September 20th, make sure you don't catch the coof, you won't be eligible to vote and you are past the mail-in date. Sucks to suck.

Also, there is a record number of mail-in ballots being sent out (1.2 Million!) and according to Elections Canada, that means we won't have the outcome known likely for days! Apparently as a Pandemic Precaution (lol), they are changing the way they are counting ballots. Normally, they would count the mail-in ballots first, but now it's not until at least Tuesday morning. Why? Well, it's all for your safety... and they need to know how many more to print. Remember, the polls are virtually locked between the Liberals and Conservatives. Keep that in mind.

The Grande Prairie - Mackenzie Member of Parliament, Chris Warkentin, won 84% of the vote in 2019. Looking at the event schedule, he is taking that overwhelming lead for granted and I can't find a publicised campaign stop in his riding this time around. The man who is hoping to shake things up and will be getting my vote, is the People's Party of Canada Candidate Shawn McLean. He's holding and participating in events in the community and the PPC have my values in mind.

If you like the platform of the PPC and have concerns of 'splitting the vote' or on the one-track mindset of "Anyone but Trudeau", it's about building a sustainable opposition. Give the PPC a chance!
