"Augury" - late Middle English (in the sense ‘divination’): from Old French augurie or Latin augurium ‘interpretation of omens’, from augur

"Bibliomancy" - divination and interpretation by means of the written word

"Chaos" - late 15th century (denoting a gaping void or chasm, later formless primordial matter): via French and Latin from Greek khaos ‘vast chasm, void’
