The Jesuit Vatican Shadow Empire 187 - Of Pearls and Men!

In this video, I want to take a look at the Biblical concept of the Pearl of Great Price that Jesus talks about in Matthew 13:45-46. Matthew 13 actually contains 7 parables, and the pearl is number 6 between the parables of the Great Treasure and the last parable of the Great Net. Jesus begins nearly all of these parables except the parable of the seeds with, “The kingdom of heaven is like.” Why does he do this? I may be stating the obvious, but he is making simple analogies of Earthly things and their relationship to Heavenly things. There is always the Natural and then the Spiritual. VALUE is very important when trying to understand God’s kingdom. Jesus may have used simple stories to explain things, but the meanings are incredibly profound. To MISS the meaning and FAIL to apply WHAT Jesus is saying, to our lives places us in eternal spiritual jeopardy. Through 7 parables, Jesus lays down the foundation of the principles of the Kingdom of Heaven and what it means for men and women. It is a grave mistake to dismiss these examples in the pursuit of deeper truths of God’s Word. This is about as deep as it gets. The truth is locked up in these parables and their effect on our lives only IF we have eyes to see and ears to hear it.
