150 Dolphins Charge Past Boat Fleeing Orca Hunt

Info from Licensor: Guests onboard a whale watching tour with Discovery West Adventures were left in awe after hundreds of Pacific White Sided Dolphins were suddenly spooked by transient orca on the hunt. The boat was stopped watching the Dolphins mill and play, when all of a sudden they turned and started swimming for their lives, straight towards the boat. Shortly after this video, the guests witnessed an orca bunting a dolphin 15 feet into the air! The orca being viewed are known as the “T90’s”, and are known to prey on Pacific White Sided Dolphins. Discovery West Adventures runs whale and wildlife tours out of Browns Bay Resort, Campbell River.
