Broken Pieces Picking up the broken pieces from my shattered heart again memories long hidden in the dust like some forgotten token This time around I know my life will never again be the same no use pointing fingers in the air for someone else to blame What’s said is said what’s done is done leave it in the past the twist of fate bewildered all the dice they have been cast There is no glue to mend these things all is different somehow I’m feeling lost and am as an invisible soul in the here and now Broken pieces turn to dust and the winds scatter far and wide bloodshot eyes can see the final days and smile as they cried Overwhelmed and feeling numb emotions very heightened some are brave and some are lost others may be frightened Before these bones lay down to rest there is one thing I must do pick up the scattered pieces and say a prayer broken good as new Patriotic Poet https://t.me/PatrioticPoet Emotional Epic Cinematic Carlos Estella

Picking up the broken pieces from my shattered heart again
