Splatoon 2 Online League Battles (Recorded on 9/11/17)

Last night Keet, Car, Splash and I had some awesome four-player league matches. In fact, these were probably the best league matches I've had so far. We hit an all-time-high rating of 1991, and we got to rank 21 overall. Considering that Keet, Car and I never even played the first Splatoon (outside of briefly trying the demo), I'm really happy about that. I know there are far better teams out there, but for a ragtag group of new players, I think that's not too bad.

There were some laggy matches last night, but I haven't included those here. In particular, during the very last Tower Control match of the night, the other team lagged so hard that they caused a communication error and disconnected everyone except for one person on each team. Can anyone tell me why so many of the 2000+ teams lag so damn hard?

I think there were some recording errors in the sixth match, so if you see the video skipping, that's probably why.

Oh, I got teabagged (again...) in the third match (13:42 mark) and the sixth match (31:04 mark). I think Splash was having a squidbag war with the other teams, and I was just collateral damage. Pretty hilarious.
