World's First Temple Becomes Even More Mysterious

The government of Turkey recently announced that eleven more megalithic sites have been found near Göbekli Tepe, considered the world’s oldest temple. Archaeologists have found T-shaped obelisks at Göbekli Tepe dated to about 9000 BC up to 20 feet tall and weighing 40-60 tons. The area is to be dubbed Twelve Tepe, meaning “Twelve Hills.”
