Episode 40: Appalachian Nature - Stunningly Beautiful and Peacefully Serene!

This land is located in Whitley County, Kentucky, bordering Tennessee. It was recently described by Bryce’s friend, George Clemens, as “heaven”. It really is stunningly beautiful. No technology, internet is barely there on a good day, and we loving every minute of this hard work!
Bryce, Angel, and Bryce’s brother, Adam, stayed down on the land for the first time this September weekend.

They begin the drone flight on the low-lying area of the land. There is a couple of connected ponds created by the spring that feeds the creek. The beavers dammed up the creek area and created large ponds. The third dam broke around January or February.

Nature cams were set up for security and… surprise - nature! The deer seem to love the path. Who knows now since it was mowed, but they should still be there.

Bryce also shows a quick review of the progression of the land from January, when we first looked at the land, until now.

What are your thoughts? Should we break the beaver dam and let the water flow out, dry up and then we dig it out, or should we just let it be?
