Bigfoot Hill

This is in the National forest above Greer AZ.
Back in 2014 while looking for Mushrooms, I heard wood knocks. The woods went completely silent right before it happened. After the woods went silent, my first thought was great, a cougar or black bear. Then I heard the knocks 😱
I moved very slowly/quickly back to where the truck was parked.

At first when I heard the knocks, I thought it might be campers further in the woods, having fun at my expense. But how did "they" make the woods go silent? It was the eerieest thing ever.

I'm a Washington state transplant. Grew up in the Pacific Northwest playing in Hood Canal and living at the base of the Olympic mountains. The loggers had stories, but I never gave Bigfoot a second thought.

20 years later, living in AZ, I hear wood knocks....

Augie ( who is a retired Police officer)and I had spent years reading Animal attack stories. That all changed, that day.

We soon started reading "cryptid" encounters and discovered the Missing 411 stories.

We now have a personal location device land never go into the woods alone.

My story still could've been someone having fun at my expense. But, there are a Ton of animal attack stories and unexplained disappearances in and around National Forests!

Be careful out in the woods, and be aware!
