Throughout the scriptures we find references to reinforcing sacred memories - rituals, monuments, feasts, etc - so that God's people would not forget what He did for them.

The ways of the world are designed to choke out the memory of what God has done for us. Don't get caught up in the cares of the world and neglect to spend time remembering what God has done for you.

Remember what you were, and thank Him for what you are now through Him.

Joshua 2:1-22, 4:22-25

Rahab was a prostitute and she became an ancestor of Jesus. She remembered what she was and what she became.

Reflecting on the past can lead people into the golden age syndrome, when everything was perfect and gentle. But that is a distortion of the past. Some people believe that their best life is past. That is not the case.

Your future is brighter than your past is.

The world is going to get darker. But for you, it gets better. You are in the light.

When you read the scriptures, you have to pay attention to whom it is written.

You are not under the law. Jesus has fulfilled the law. Jesus has paid the price for your freedom. The sin debt is paid in full. You are the Body of Christ.

It's time to get a fresh vision of God. God wants you to have a fresh vision of Who He is and what He has done for you.

His power is unequaled. Jesus' Name is above every name in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. AND He gave us His Name.

Philemon 1:6 tells us that whatever we can find in the scriptures that pertains to the Body of Christ is ours. We reinforce it, we make it show up, in our lives by declaring it.
