Trevor Bauer Has His Leave Extended Through the Playoffs, Ending His Season | What's With Watson?

No shock here, but the means in which it came about are a bit of a head scratcher. Through a collaborative effort, Bauer's Team and the MLB have extended his Administrative Leave through the end of the 2021 MLB Season and through the Playoffs (however far the Los Angeles Dodgers go) to coincide with the ongoing Pasadena Police Department and MLB's investigations. The capitulation to the MLB in agreeing to their terms, to me, is the first misstep in how Bauer has handled the situation (the one obvious decision aside). Rachel Luba and Jon Fetterolf have better gotten a concrete guarantee from the MLB that he will not be blacklisted, because this smells of a setup. This might be the last time Bauer has worn Dodger Blue, we will see.

The media coverage of Bauer has been relentless. Constantly dragging him for the accusations that could not sway the Judge presiding over the only Legal Case (the Protection Order of Lindsey Hill, no Criminal Charges were filed by the way) by constantly referencing these flat out false claims. Where as with the Houston Texans Quarterback DeShaun Watson gets far more favorable treatment.

DeShaun Watson has amassed 22 Civil Suits from different women and 10 Criminal Complaints. That seems like quite a lot hey? Well what's the evidence and why is there so much of a dogpiling? Also, why is the NFL not placing him on a leave? Why is it the League is leaving it up to the Texans when others have had similar situations handled differently? I am in the camp of Watson's Innocence until proven Guilty; but fair is fair and the Media and the Leagues treatments couldn't be different. Wonder why...
