Bodycam Video From Fatal Police Shootout in Roswell, New Mexico

Roswell Police released video of a deadly officer-involved shooting. Police publicly identified the man who was shot as Shayne Romero, 30, of Peralta, New Mexico.Police released “video of the incident from the body cam of the officer who exchanged gunfire with the suspect.” It happened around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday when a Roswell police officer was checking on a stolen vehicle at a Roswell motel. Officials said Romero told the officer that he owned the vehicle but then tried to run away.
