Woman Crashes SUV Into Utility Pole After Police Chase

White Lake Township police pulled over a woman near M-59 and Fisk Road on June 6. Police said the driver gave officers a fake name and while the officer ran the plate against the fake name she wheeled around and took off. The driver was allegedly Mercedes Morris and she was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants. Police gave chase as she put the pedal to floor and flew down M-59, weaving in and out of traffic.
