Like Iran, the Taliban in Afghanistan impose internet blackouts

On September 8, the #Taliban forced telecoms to switch off internet on mobile phones for five areas of Kabul, Afghanistan.

In November 2019, #Iran 's regime imposed a complete internet blackout and went on to massacre over 1,500 protesters.
