Gran Habano La Conquista Gran Robusto Cigar Review

This 6x54 stick features a large cedar sleeve covering a dusty grey brown wrapper with a soft even pack, satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and faint tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of mild-medium bodied smoke showing notes of creamy smooth oily sweet natural tobacco on a short clean finish. The first third shows no changes but has good construction. 25 minutes in at the 1/2 way point there's a hint of vanilla, the ash drops in a solid chunk and that's it. Finishing at 55 minutes the last third just shifts the vanilla to a subtle honey.
