FOOTBALL BY THE GRACE OF GOD part two

If "God bless football" was the wish of Lord Arthur Kinnaird, the still undefeated record holder of nine FA Cup final appearances and longest-running president in the history of the Football Association, there were Christian preachers in UK (Anglican and Protestant Christians) to create the atmosphere who anticipates the beginnings of football in 1824, in Edinburgh (Scotland), with the philanthropist John Hope (1807 - 1893), a convinced Christian pastor. John Hope contributes to spreading this sport in the universities of the United Kingdom and writes the first rules. Victor Vegan has studied connections between scottish and english football as real founders later of italian football.
In this second and final episode we'll know who were the people who exported the rules of football born in U.K. to Italy. There were simple Englishmen, Scottishmen and Swiss entrepreneurs who, joining the Italian monarchy and aristocracy, people from all walks of life, philanthropists and above all non-Catholic Christian believers, Jews and Freemasons have made it a reason for living.
